[2022-11-08] Chang’an Branch of Dongguan Association of Taiwanese Investment Enterprises (abbreviated as “Chang’an Taiwan Chamber of Commerce”) held the 12th and 13th President Handover and Inauguration Ceremony of All Conference Cadres. Huang Huihong, Director of the Dongguan Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Bureau, Li Fuquan, Chairman of the Chang’an Town People’s Congress, Dai Haoping, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, and town leaders Li Yanqin, Gu Ying, and Li Shaocong attended the ceremony.

Li Fuquan presented the President’s Certificate to Wu Xianda, the 13th President of the Chang’an Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and General Manager of Dongguan DAYIN Plastic Products Co., Ltd. At the same time, the list of elected directors of the Chang’an Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, including the new chairman of the board of supervisors and vice presidents, was announced on the spot, and the corresponding certificates were issued.

Huang Huihong, Director of the Dongguan City Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Bureau, congratulated the newly elected president and all directors and supervisors of the Chang’an Taiwan Chamber of Commerce. In her speech, she said that since its establishment 27 years ago, the Chang’an Taiwan Chamber of Commerce has united local Taiwanese businessmen and enterprises to discuss cooperation, built a bridge for government-enterprise exchanges, and contributed wisdom and strength to the economic and social development of Chang’an Town and even Dongguan City. As a city with a high concentration of Taiwanese enterprises, Dongguan is a hot spot for Taiwanese investment. As always, it will continue to support Taiwanese enterprises to expand their markets with greater efforts and more meticulous services, accelerate their integration into the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and deeply promote exchanges and cooperation between Dongguan and Taiwan, and promote Taiwanese compatriots and young people to integrate into Dongguan and prosper together.

Dai Haoping, deputy secretary of the Chang’an Town Party Committee, said that the Chang’an Town Committee and the town government will continue to support the development of the Chang’an Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and the vast majority of Taiwanese enterprises. He hopes that the association will help promote Chang’an, unite and lead the vast majority of Taiwanese enterprises to take root in Chang’an and become bigger and stronger, actively build bridges for the vast majority of Taiwanese youth to come to Chang’an to start businesses and find jobs, serve as a good “mother family” for Taiwanese compatriots, and promote economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between Chang’an and Taiwan.

Wu Xianda, the 13th president of Chang’an Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and general manager of Dongguan DAYIN Plastic Products Co., Ltd., said that the association will continue to serve member companies, promote the rejuvenation of the organization, promote communication and exchanges between Taiwanese youth and Chang’an youth, attract more Taiwanese entrepreneurs and young people to work and start businesses in the Greater Bay Area, and at the same time improve the association’s service level, promote the diversification of member company exchanges, build channels for government-enterprise communication, and strive to achieve mutual assistance and win-win results in the current market environment.

It is understood that the Chang’an Branch of the Dongguan Taiwan Investment Enterprise Association was established in 1995 and is composed of enterprises opened by Taiwanese compatriots in Chang’an Town and their investors, technical personnel, and management personnel. The association’s purpose is “unity, pragmatism, exchange and development”. It currently has more than 240 member companies, mainly covering industrial manufacturing industries such as electronics and information, hardware molds, footwear, and plastic products.
